Review:
Porn films were cranked out by the thousands at the time of Confessions of Seka, but this one remains in my memory due to one quite oddball scene, which in retrospect might be considered experimental. Seka, a very big star in the industry at the time, appears to be quite stoned for real in this film, and there is a lengthy exposition scene in the backseat of a moving car where clearly she hasn't a clue to what her lines of dialog are. Trouper Veronica Hart takes over and through prompts and just plain moving forward at all costs handles both sides of the conversation, not too elegantly covering for poor Ms. Seka. Since the hardcore porn content of most of these films (though not all -see several great works of the period featuring Hart like A SCENT OF HEATHER) is and was clinically boring, such odd acting scenes are what stand out. Even though ostensibly these movies were strictly about the sex, as borne out in more recent decades with the dominance of All-Sex videos crowding plotted stories out of the market: Gresham's Law.
