This is really only average by Stagliano's standards. His rantings and obsessed air are still enjoyable and the lovely Angela Summers is prominently featured (no waste of resources from John, ever). But I really expected more in terms of gorgeous Brasileiras: they do have reputably the best asses in the world, and to this at least the movie found me in agreement; in all other respects however the native girls featured were rather plain IMHO. The sex wasn't that imaginative or hot either, though it was as usual nicely filmed. I know that Buttman is not Anal-man, but after so much attention has been bestowed on the glories of the female prosterior the absence of any anal scenes whatsoever leaves a bit of bitter taste.

I was looking for the DVD of this movie (Double disc with the first Buttman in Rio flick) and couldn’t find it. So I’m dug around in the personal stash until I found my VHS copy. To be honest I don’t remember much about the Brazilian girls in the cast. What I do remember about it is that it was an early Buttman adventure and that was always something I looked forward to. Back when porn companies didn’t travel much, Stagliano took his camera with him to Rio and brought us back ground breaking smut. Yeah, that is the text book answer to what I remember about this movie. Never mind camera techniques, world travel and porn history. I remember about this movie is the fact that Angela Summers is the beautiful woman who accompanies John on his Brazilian trip. Some of you already know about my Angela Summers obsession so I will try to keep the drool to a minimum. Let’s just say that she is as cute as a homecoming queen, built like a bikini model and fucks like a wet dream come true. That pretty much covers it.

John starts this trip by making a stop at Bruce Seven’s office. He peeks through the window and gets a good look at Angela Summers. He gets dragged into the office by Roscoe Bowltree (Patrick Collins) and introduced to Bruce. Buttman wants to shoot a video in Brazil, but is mocked by Seven, Bowltree and even Angela. They agree to finance the movie, but only if he takes Angela with him to watch over the project.

Once they get down to Brazil we get some very hot street footage of the local shaking their asses. Some fantastic beach footage follows that up. It is easy to see why Buttman fell in love with Brazil. He focuses in one of particular girl, Sandra and chats her up on the beach. She doesn’t speak English, but he communicates with her well. It’s very strange to se them talking with all those real people all around. Eventually they make it up to John’s room and we get some excellent tease. (We are thirty minutes into the movie with no sex scene. This is some serious gonzo tease footage. John keeps this girl to himself and uses the mirror to capture her sucking his cock. The action is somewhat choppy as he moves the camera around to capture the sex. It’s still very hot though and gets even better when Angela catches them. Now that we have someone to hold the camera the scene begins to flow a bit better. Of course it ends after some pussy licking and a quick shot in the general direction of her face. This isn’t great, but it sets the tone for more Brazilian fun.

We get some more night club footage and Angela shows that her ass is even better than the Brazilian girls. The next day on the beach she wants some fun so she finds a hunky guy and brings John along to film the encounter. Felipe speaks enough English to carry on a conversation and he clearly likes what Angela has in her bikini. They take him home and after Angela gets excited watching him dance, we get to watch her suck some cock. I honestly think that Angela is one of the hottest girls in the history of porn. Charmila and Marincha are two very hot girls they meet on the beach. The tease is a little under-shot this time as they rush back to the room for some fun. As usual the action jumps around a bit but we get the great butt shots we have come to expect. Both women seem to really enjoy riding in cowgirl. Either that or they just know how to put on a good show. Felipe leaves his load on one girl’s ass while Cleo cums in the other.

After one more trip to the clubs for some wild Rio action, Angela takes center stage again. She sees a couple of guys on the beach and moves in. Anyone who loves real gonzo porn will want to pick this up. I would suggest grabbing the DVD with both of Buttman’s Rio flicks together. This one has a nice mix of the Brazilian girls and our home grown hottie. Angela is by far the hottest girl in the movie. Her two scenes are the best overall, but there is a lot to enjoy here. Buttman movies are better today than they were back then, but you can see the seeds of greatness here. Naturally the butt shots are the best parts of the movie. Even early on Stagliano knew what he liked and he gave it to us like no one else. One of the problems could be the male talent. These aren’t the usual guys and it shows from time to time. I love the gonzo style of the movie, especially the tease. Seeing these women in bikinis and on the town is a lot of fun and it takes us from one scene to the next perfectly. Consider it a must see for anyone who loves classic gonzo or who shares my massive case of monkey-lust for Angela Summers.
