Review:
When an ex-porn star is asked to help out an old friend who needs a stud for his new movie, he risks his marriage to help out his buddy. When the wife finds out what her superstud husband is up to, her reaction is completely unexpected—and totally erotic!
This "Golden Age" flick is a tour-de-force for John Leslie. Fans might know him today as a prolific director, but that came after a successful career in front of the camera. The story concerns an ex-adult film star who is being blackmailed into resuming his former profession. That plot might sound a little heavy, but it's not; this is a humorous, entertaining film.

John is working overtime in this movie. Perhaps the hottest scene is with redhead Kitty Shayne, who didn't make many movies but is super here. The one thing I don't care for is that John smacks her one time (at her request). That's a rarity in "mainstream" X-rated fare, then or now. Another exciting scene features Lysa Thatcher, a pretty young woman fondly remembered (by me, at least). Plus, there's an effective cameo by Sue Nero in a movie-within-the-movie, "Cheerleaders in Bondage." That's supposed to be a parody of cheap exploitation porn if it's possible to do such a thing. In any case, it's funny.

As sometimes happens in these films, the moral of the story comes down in favor of monogamy. John's character Willie is reunited lovingly with his wife-- albeit on the set of a porno movie! His faithful wife is credited as Shirley Woods but is better known as Sharon Kane, or Cane, or Caine, or...

I enjoyed this film. HOT women, everyone of them. The story line/plot is a little simplistic. Like a wife would not know about her husband's past in "the industry"? The scene with Kitty Shane being slapped around made sense to the film. The rough sex might not be acceptable to most porn fans. Niche market for it. This was a part of the blackmail basis.
The film was well acted overall.

Most mainstream porn films don't have violence. In fact during the Reagan Administration, Attorney General John Ashcroft came down hard on the industry overall, but violent films were singled out. Later on, Bill Clinton's AG went down really tough on films depicting fisting. Four fingers were okay, just don't put in the thumb. Yes, strange. ????????? "W" was just as confusing even though the national interest was focused on The Middle East. Law enforcement against porn is ever evolving as to what is permitted. Under Obama, just about everything was okay except . Same with Trump and Biden.
