You just know that you're in for a treat when The Devil shows up -- dressed in a hot pink pimp-suit and riding in a stretch, green Cadillac -- to spirit two Old West ghost prostitutes into the future world of a group of sorority sisters to help them get laid!

HEAVENLY DESIRES is a crazy little porn film, with a silly plot, bad acting, a few good chuckles, and plenty enough sex to qualify for its XXX status. Mary Lou (Seka) and Rosebud (Serena) are two resurrected spirits from the Old West who are enlisted by The Devil (Johnny Keyes) to help two young new sorority pledges lose their virginity before their initiation day. The Sorority house just so happens to be the same one that Mary Lou and Rosebud used to work at when it was a brothel more than 100 years ago. Despite the building's past, and the "looseness" of the other sorority girls, the two new girls just aren't ready to go all the way -- until they get "ghostbusted"!

The story is fairly slight, merely carrying the film from one sex scene to another, but it does so with a few good lines here and there. Keyes, as the pimped-out Devil steals the show for both his outrageous get-up and his dialogue. When the ghost women fail to get the new girls sexually active sooner, the Devil -- who promises the sexual pleasures of Hell in return for success -- reminds them: "You'll be assigned a cloud, a robe and a harp, and you'll have to sing Amazing Grace, along with Pat Boone, for the rest of eternity." Shiver. There are some interesting special and sound effects utilized throughout which add to all the fun; the ghosts fading through walls, The Devil appearing in puffs of smoke, and even the Caddy driving all by itself. And of course there is sex; college coed romps, teacher-student relations, landlord-tenant acts, ghost encounters, and even the Devil himself getting in on some action here and there. Nothing spectacular though, and unfortunately, the immense orgy scene at the end becomes somewhat lackluster due to poor lighting. Over-all, very interesting in terms of how much extra the old-school pornographers were willing to put into their features back in the early years.
