Review:
Christi Lake's an attractive lady who's been in and out of the classic porn industry since about 1995. Her long, lean body with no implants and a strawberry blond mane of hair has always turned me on. In VCA's low cost Explicit line of dvds, I finally got my chance to take a look at a vintage movie she made long ago where she got fans to perform with her rather than the parolee's you usually see in adult movies. In a sense, they were much more "average guy" looking than those who have used it as a selling point (ie: Ed Powers and company) and this will probably add to the enjoyment of those who check this one out. Here's a breakdown of the 5 scenes by cast:

Scene One: In a motel room, Christi took on Ben with her usual energy. Fun to watch with no condom and oral with straight action.

Scene Two: Rose and Mike took on our lovely young star after meeting while tanning outside. They went inside and had mainly oral and straight sex which was tame but fun.

Scene Three: Christi, while going shopping for shoes in a store in San Diego, got out of her cool looking DeLorean and met up with Jack. The action took place in the dressing room and the pudgy guy seemed to have plenty of fun.

Scene Four: Christi, ever the sunworshipper, met Lee from Reno while rollerblading. They went back to the motel room and you know what happened then. This was the worst looking scene (production values) but it seemed fairly real too. Again, not bad.

Scene Five: Christi told us during the opening of this shot that she met Rick during a swingers party. The scene began underway which probably meant something happened beforehand but like the other scenes, the sex seemed much more real than most pornos even though you know it's staged. Fans of facials will rejoice that she not only didn't use condoms but she took loads of goo to her face a lot in this scene too.

Summary: For all the technical limitations of this dvd, I had a good time with it. Given it's low cost, I can't really complain about the lack of extras since Christi looked good and performed in a realistic manner in each scene. I think the idea of having regular guys participate in the movie lent it some measure of newness too. If VCA's Xplicit line continues to provide such bang for the buck, I'll have to reevaluate my stance on demanding extras all the time.
