Description: Review:
TRAVELIN' is a time killer/filler porn programmer resurrected by Something Weird on Vol. 29 of its Dragon Art Theatre series. The print was shredded, resulting in a mercifully short video running time.

A self-centered schmuck who's "gotta move on" rides the two-lane blacktop not on an impressive hog but what looks like a motorcycle that's little more than a motor scooter. He stops to have sex with girls and then splits -end of non-story.

This excuse for cheap outdoor XXX sex (no sets, no lighting required) is as boring as the summary sounds. The opening credits cast list is endless, probably to mislead the viewer rather than implying "missing scenes". Uncredited is familiar porn star Sandy Dempsey and her butterfly tattoo, lending a few moments of beauty to this piece of junk.

Credits represent a curio, as the title and the "THE END" notation are written on the highway, with the camera tilting down to capture them. Still, opticals are used to list the cast, various crew members and the pseudonym-director who uses single quotation marks in his name: 'Bob' Insert. True to his name, the money shots on-screen look like inserts, disembodied in tight closeup from the nominal hero or another commune dude. To place him in a 1970s context, the non-actor in the lead role looks (apart from his nose) like Robert Carradine, circa THE POM POM GIRLS.

The musical score is primarily romantic solo guitar music, including Michel Legrand's "I Will Wait for You" and Jimmy Webb's "Didn't We." It doesn't fit, but it puts the audience to sleep.
